Abstract: |
Based on the resource-based view (RBV), this study examines the relationship between corporate social responsibility (CSR) and organizational performance from the perspective of human capital management (HCM) in the context of Taiwan. The study confirms that only CSR practices which differentiate a firm from its rivals will have direct positive influence on a firm’s financial performance. The study also confirms that a proper alignment between CSR and HCM will enhance a firm’s organizational performance. |
