Abstract: |
This study investigates the impacts of job embeddedness on employee job crafting and job satisfaction. Based on inter-individual goal-striving orientations, we propose a moderated mediation model with job crafting as the mediator of the linkage between job embeddedness and job satisfaction, and with three different goal-striving orientations as the moderators. Our hypotheses were tested using a two-phase survey data collected from 138 employees from various industries in southern China. Theoretical and practical implications of our findings are discussed at the end of this study. |
