Abstract: |
As prior studies indicate that the relationship between team boundary-spanning behaviors and team creativity is mixed, we try to examine nonlinear relationship between team boundary-spanning behaviors and team creativity. Using 433 employee-leader matched survey data, our analyses indicates that the relationship between team boundary-spanning behaviors and team creativity is presented as an inverse “U” shape. Team boundary-spanning behaviors influence team creativity via team knowledge sharing. Besides, team interdependence moderated the indirect effect of team boundary-spanning on team creativity. Such that, when team interdependence is high, the inverse “U” shaped relationship will be reversely rotated to some extent. |
