Abstract: |
Considering the mixed results of the relationship between job insecurity and job performance, it is necessary to study the contingent relationship. Based on Conservation of?Resources?theory, this research explores the moderating role job embeddedness, and examines the mediating role of affective commitment, Through the survey of 221 formal employees from two manufacturing companies, it finds that the interaction of job insecurity and job embeddedness positively affects job performance, and affective commitment mediates the interaction effect. The above conclusions not only illustrate the important role of job embeddedness in the relationship between job insecurity and job performance, but also provide beneficial thinking and enlightenment for enterprises and employees to manage job insecurity. |
