Abstract:
      This study examines the relationships among the three paternalistic leadership dimensions and employee creativity, mediation role of voice, and moderation role of power distance using data obtained from 324 supervisor–subordinate dyads in 26 manufacturing companies in Ghana. SEM analysis revealed that benevolent and moral leadership impacts positively with employee creativity, while authoritarian leadership impacts negatively with employee creativity. Promotive voice, mediates significantly the three types of paternalistic leadership and employee creativity but not prohibitive voice. Power distance significantly moderates all dimensions of paternalistic leadership and promotive voice but showed significant moderation effects only on benevolent leadership and prohibitive voice.
